Play Session Facilitator
We're looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person to join our small team at AllThrive.
This is a permanent role and the candidate must be at least 21 years of age.
Location: King Street, Leyland, PR25 2LE.

Overview
Minimum 12 hours over two days, hosting 0-5 play sessions, SEN Sessions and Birthday party's.
Working hours are between 9am - 6pm
The ideal candidates will be required to work a minimum of approximately 10-12 hours per week with the option to work some additional weekday afternoons (3 hours per day).
This is a solo role.

​Salary: National living wage as of April 2025 (£12.21 per hour) and will increase as of April 2026 (£12.71).
Accrued holiday is paid per hours worked.
Branded uniform will be given.
On site staff parking.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate play sessions for children ensuring a friendly, calm atmosphere

Welcome customers and offer a high level of customer service.

Prepare drinks for customers.

Requirements:

Ability to engage with Parents, carers and children in a positive manner.

Must have good attention to detail.

Essential that you are able to meet the physical demands of the role. Cleaning and tidying efficiently and thoroughly in between and at the end of sessions to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.

Experience working with children, children with additional needs or within the care sector is desirable.

Professional and reliable with good initiative.

A period of fully paid shadowing and training will be provided. This includes on session preparation, elements involved in hosting a session and cleaning the routine after sessions.​ ​
